Models used in Depicting Phenomena
Science is based on scientific method to explain the events of nature. This is mainly accomplished by observation of the natural phenomena through experimentation under controlled conditions. It consists of basic and applied research. In basic research a great deal of understanding and curiosity comes. Basic research is the search for knowledge and on the other hand applied research is explicitly focused on solutions.

Science is based on the process of experimentation and hypothesizing the natural event or phenomena. For instance DNA determines the genetic structure of all the existing life including man to bacteria and the Bohr model of the atom, which were initially prompted by experimentation. On the basis of information scientists construct a model, which is used in depicting the phenomenon, which is a logical or mathematical representation of the overall procedure and steps involved.
Here empirical evidence help in generating hypothesis for formulating the principle. In case if the hypothesis is unsatisfactory it is either discarded or modified. For coordination research across different field operationalilzation also plays a very dominant role. It hypotheses give positive result in testing then it becomes the framework for a scientific theory.
