In these pages you'll find a collection of poetry I've penned
over the years. A multi-flavored stew of different style and
subject of inspirational verse. From nature, love, birth, and
death...to hope, family, and christian thought. These are
grass root poems, that seek to explore your relationship to
yourself, nature, family, friends, and God. I find that many
of them fit into multiple categories. I've tried to choose the
most appropriate to put them in.
It's said that a person's Muse marks all that it touches. And
the same spirit, that fuels the soul of the writer, translates
through to warm and wither the heart of the reader. So may
you be in tune to find a spirit of peace within these pages,
and a sense of the fulfillment I felt as I wrote these words.
Feel free to copy and share these writings in any non-profit

I'm now hosting a childrens poetry blog of short, inspirational
clips of verse to teach simple values and inspire good thoughts.
It's centered around the theme of Winnie the Pooh, and is
called Pooh Thoughts. It's for grownup children too.
Check out the 'The Old Poets' page. This is a collection of
my all-time favorites. The 'golden oldie' poems and poets we
love to read.
You can also find samples of my poetry, along with excellent
work by other poets, at holisticjunction.com.

This is a young website. It will grow and develop over time.

Come, read to me some poem,
Some simple and heartfelt lay,
That shall soothe this restless feeling,
And banish the thoughts of day...
Read from some humbler poet,
Whose songs gushed from his heart,
As showers from the clouds of summer,
Or tears from the eyelids start;
Who, through long days of labor,
And nights devoid of ease,
Still heard in his soul the music
Of wonderful melodies...
